These terms apply when you use studyrationale.com or buy a Rationale study guide. By buying, you agree to them. In short: the guide is for your own study, it's an unofficial aid that can't promise you'll pass, and you have 30 days to get your money back.

1. Who we are

Rationale ("we", "us") creates original, independent study materials for professional licensing exams. Contact: our contact page or support@studyrationale.com.

2. Unofficial study aid

Rationale is not affiliated with or endorsed by ASWB, NASW, or BACB. Our guides are independent study aids. They contain original practice questions written by us. They are not real or recalled exam questions and are not official exam materials. ASWB® is a registered trademark of the Association of Social Work Boards, used only to describe the exam our guide prepares for.

3. What you're buying

The ASWB Masters guide is a digital PDF download, delivered through our checkout provider, Whop, right after payment. The product page describes what's included. Prices are shown in US dollars, and any sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

4. Your license to use the guide

When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use the guide for your own exam preparation. You may:

download it, keep copies on your own devices, and print it for your own use.

You may not:

share, resell, upload, or distribute the guide or any part of it, including in study groups, course sites, or file-sharing services;
copy its questions or explanations into another product, course, or tutoring material;
remove copyright or trademark notices.

The guide's content is our original work and is protected by copyright. We may end your license if you break these terms.

5. No guarantee of results

No study product can promise a passing score. Your result depends on your preparation and on the exam itself. We work hard to keep the guide accurate and aligned with the current ASWB content outline, but we don't guarantee that you will pass, or that the guide covers every question you'll see.

6. Educational use only

The guide is for exam preparation. It is not legal, clinical, or professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for your education, supervision, or the laws and regulations that apply where you practice. Exam rules, fees and formats are set by ASWB and your licensing board; always check their official information.

7. Accuracy and updates

The guide reflects the ASWB outline and the sources it cites as of its publication date. Exam programs and professional standards change. If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page. We may correct and update the guide, and buyers can download updated versions of the same edition through Whop.

8. Refunds

Every purchase has a 30-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, contact us within 30 days and tell us what didn't work for you; a reason is required. See the Refund Policy for details.

9. Exam confidentiality

Please don't send us, or post in connection with our products, any content from a real exam. Candidates agree with ASWB to keep exam content confidential, and we don't want or use it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the guide and website are provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim connected with them is limited to the amount you paid for the guide. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as exam fees, lost time, or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you bought applies to that purchase. We'll show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
