Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can: what's needed to sell you the guide, deliver it, and answer your emails. We don't sell your information.
This policy covers studyrationale.com and the Rationale study guides ("we", "us"). Contact: our contact page or support@studyrationale.com.
What we collect and why

We don't ask for your exam scores, licensing details or any sensitive personal information, and you don't need an account on our site.
Cookies and tracking
Our website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The checkout is provided by Whop and may use cookies needed to complete a secure payment; see Whop's privacy policy.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers that run the store, and only what they need:
- Whop: checkout, payments, receipts and download delivery.
- Netlify: hosts this website and receives and stores messages sent through our contact form.
- Google Fonts: serves the typeface used on the site, which means your browser requests it from Google's servers.
- Our email provider: handles messages sent to support@studyrationale.com.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights (for example, in a payment dispute). We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for others' marketing.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails if you've opted in, and every one has an unsubscribe link. Order and refund emails aren't marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require (usually up to 7 years), and support messages (contact form and email) for up to 2 years. Then we delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and state privacy laws in the US such as California's), you may have the right to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- object to or restrict how we use it, or receive a copy of it.
Send a request through our contact page or to support@studyrationale.com, and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performing our contract with you (your order), our legitimate interests (running and securing the site), and legal obligations (tax records). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and payments are handled by Whop rather than on our servers. No method is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can access it.
Children
Our guides are for adults preparing for professional licensing exams. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
